Job Overview
The Facilitator Specialist functions as a remote instructor and service provider for intervention program clients. This position facilitates all aspects of webinar classes, including client behavior, curriculum instruction, and required reporting.
Facilitate interactive, instructional webinars for clients by maintaining established norms and teaching program content.
Follow the curriculum format for each webinar with compassionate and skilled delivery of concepts, strategies, and material.
Provide strategies to hold clients accountable.
Monitor client behavior during webinars and alert Client Support regarding absences, no-shows, suspected substance abuse, or breach of norms.
Complete weekly status reports for each client’s progress and review monthly summary data.
Demonstrate stress tolerance with de-escalation skills.
Interact with S2S staff regarding attendance records, monthly reports, or tech support.
Incumbents must maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment in performing assigned duties.
Qualifications, Credentials and Competencies Education
Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social work, Law Enforcement, or related field.
Commensurate experience in allied industry may be considered.
Experience
Demonstrated compassionate experience serving at-risk populations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Specific knowledge regarding, but not limited to, spousal abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, substance abuse, the dynamics of violence and abuse, the law, and procedures of the legal system.
Intuitive software skills.
Communicate with an encouraging and compassionate attitude, both orally and in writing.
Perform tasks independently within established timeframes.
Maintain professional manners.
Reliable and diligent work ethic.
Exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills.
Work independently in the absence of instructions and maintain strict confidentiality.
Experience in education, communications, psychology, and service-providing preferred
