Role Overview

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing the features and user stories that need to be built in each sprint. They act as a bridge between stakeholders (such as customers, users, and business) and the development team, ensuring that the team builds what is most valuable to the product. This role will work cross functionally throughout Kasasa to identify and fill product gaps, achieve team and corporate goals, ensure the operational success of the product and research opportunities to provide new and enhanced products to Kasasa clients while embodying the Patch.

Responsibilities;

1. Infuses the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction.

2. Work with Product Leadership to achieve annual in-market goals and business plans, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to hit release dates.

3. Engage with clients, prospects, and internal staff to gather and document market needs.

4. Coordinate across all fronts of the organization to ensure that KPIs are being met.

5. Participate in the leadership of cross-functional teams to resolve problems and implement improvements.;

6. Manage the products through the product development lifecycle (e.g. product launches, including Sales readiness activities and post-launch efforts).

7. Support Sales and Client Teams with product knowledge and technical expertise.

8. Assist in the development of products and projects by writing use-cases and high-level requirements for internal teams.

9. Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for development sprints.

10. Champion a user-centric approach to product development, focusing on delivering exceptional user experiences and customer satisfaction.

11. Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute releases, including defining release goals, coordinating testing, and ensuring successful product launches.

12. Assist in user-acceptance testing as required.

13. Work with client-facing teams to identify and execute opportunities that increase product penetration including the creation of presentations, case studies, website content and white papers.

14. Research and analyze market trends, new technologies, and competitors to identify product gaps and identify opportunities.

15. Serve as ‘product expert’ – respond to product and technical questions, including participation in sales and client calls/visits.

16. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications;

1. Bachelor’s degree with Business concentration.

2. Ability to analyze business or technical problems to guide software development.

3. 3+ years’ experience in a financial B2B Product Management or Marketing role (or equivalent).

4. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to make presentations.

5. Ability to effectively balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

6. Strong analytical, problem solving, and research skills.

7. Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS;

  • Sitting for extended periods; approximately 5-6 hours per day;
  • Simultaneous use of hand, wrist, and fingers;
  • Daily operation of standard office equipment;
  • Frequent use of oral communication to perform work;
  • Lifts and moves up to 20 pounds occasionally;
