NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. Our NeuroRestorative facilities located in Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Orange are fully licensed JCAHO accredited Congregate Living Healthcare (CLHF) facilities that specialize in brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in-patient treatment in a residential home-like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes Neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care. Certified Nursing Assistant (Garden Grove & Santa Ana, CA)

$18.00-$21.50 per hour based on experience + OT after 8th hour (OT pay = time and a half)

• Full-time NOC shift
• Per-diem DAY and NOC shift

12-hour shifts

• Dayshift = 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• NOC shift = 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• NOC shift = $2.00 per hour shift differential

For fulltime positions at Garden Grove and Santa Ana, CNA must be able to work the following schedule:

• Week 1 days include Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Week 2 days include Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
• Repeat

Certified Nursing Assistant (Orange, CA)

• Per-Diem DAY (Friday-Sunday) = 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

• In-patient residential setting sub-acute rehab
• Ability/option to move into fulltime positions if/when available
• Ability to pick up shifts at any other sister NeuroRestorative facilities
• Ability to transfer to other NeuroRestorative facilities

Orange, CA

• 6-bed Adult Residential facility (ARF) located on East Santiago Canyon Road
• Residential rehabilitation and day treatment programs offered
• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings
• Assist with day program and daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who is kind, hardworking and dedicated to helping us provide compassionate, gentle care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an inpatient or long-term care facility and is capable of providing Activities of Daily Living such as helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and recreational activities, as well as documenting care and taking vital signs. The successful candidate for this position enjoys working with individuals with special needs and having the opportunity to make a true difference in their lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic bedside care such as assisting the patient in moving to and from bed and ensuring that the patient's condition is monitored properly with consistent assessments
• Assist patients with dressing or bathing as directed by the supervising nurse.
• Observe patients and report changes to the nurse
• Provide basic support to convalescing patients
• Assist with mobility exercises and range of motion activities

Qualifications:

• Completion of CNA certification program; current California CNA certification
• One year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
• Current in CPR for Healthcare Provider
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
