Responsibilities:;

  • Community Leadership:;
  • Lead the QA community by driving process improvements, innovative testing solutions, and the adoption of best practices across the studio.;
  • Mentor and support QA testers at all levels, fostering their professional growth and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.;
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for advancement within the QA community.;
  • Advocate for QA community goals in studio-wide discussions, aligning quality assurance strategies with game and business objectives.;
  • Balance the immediate demands of game team testing with long-term improvements for the QA community.;
  • Embedded QA Responsibilities:;
  • As an embedded QA team member, collaborate directly with a high performance cross-functional game development team;;
  • Design, execute, and refine comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the game, including functionality, performance, and usability.;
  • Conduct hands-on manual and exploratory testing to identify, document, and escalate issues, ensuring a high standard of quality for deliverables.;
  • Provide actionable feedback on game features and usability to enhance player experience and game performance.;
  • Technical Community Contributions:;
  • Develop tools, frameworks, and workflows that improve QA efficiency and scalability for game teams.;;
  • Analyze testing metrics to identify gaps in coverage or inefficiencies and implement solutions.;;
  • Collaborate with game teams to embed quality-first principles into development processes, ensuring high standards are maintained from concept to release.;

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:;

  • Proven expertise in quality assurance, with a focus on manual and exploratory testing, as well as familiarity with automated testing solutions.;;
  • 5+ years of experience in QA for game development, including significant experience in a cross-functional game development environment and mobile games.;;
  • Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and leading QA teams toward achieving professional growth.;;
  • Proficiency with QA tools and frameworks such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, or similar platforms.;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines while managing competing priorities.;
