Job Summary:
;
The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Chief of Engineering. This position's role is to maintain all guestrooms and public areas to the utmost satisfaction of our guests and Exploria Company standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly manner.
- Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost-effective manner.
- Requires advanced knowledge of maintenance skills.
- Requires the ability to handle all aspects of hotel/resort maintenance.
- Requires general knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, and plumbing.
- Completing daily work orders promptly.
- Requires self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Requires the ability to be available for emergency repairs.
- Must perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Requires minimum of 1-2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a related field is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- CPO Certification is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Work outdoors for extended periods of time.
- Constant standing with some walking.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up 50 pounds.
