This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and child-centered environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff. Security Officers in a pediatric setting provide not only protection but also compassion, family-focused support. Security Officers also respond to all emergency situations within the hospital, including behavioral health events, safety threats and act as trained first responders in accordance with hospital protocols. The position requires sound judgment, calm decision-making, and the ability to partner closely with clinical teams to support safe patient care
