FULL AND PART TIME FOR:

SETUP PERSON : CNC MACHINING CENTER (LATHE AND MILLING)

OPERATOR: CNC MACHINING CENTER (LATHE AND MILLING)

JOB DESCRIPTION CNC SETUP PERSON AND OPERATOR:

To set up and/or operate medium size vertical & horizontal machining centers and/or CNC lathes. Experience with CNC Mill / Turns is a plus.

DUTIES of SETUP PERSON:

· Set up and operate using work orders, drawings and programs.

· Optimize and troubleshoot machining processes

· Run precision production jobs, train operators to run the jobs that you set up

· Inspect precision work. Basic preventative machine maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SETUP POSITIONS:

· Be capable of complex setups with minimal assistance. (3 and 4 axis for milling)

· A minimum of 3 years setup experience. To read & edit programs. Fanuc/Yasnac controls

· To understand blueprints, geometric tolerances and basic machine shop math

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR OPERATORS:

· Duties are to productively operate CNC machining centers.

· Operators to be capable of operating the machines, making offsets, monitoring and changing cutting tools, understanding blueprints and work instructions, and measuring precision parts using indicators, mics, and the like.

· Steady work habits and attention to details are key.
