Role Description: The Licensed Mental Health Therapist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Union, SC, with some work-from-home flexibility. The therapist will provide individual, group, and geriatric counseling sessions, using appropriate therapeutic modalities to address a range of mental health concerns. Daily responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and coordinating care with other providers when needed. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in case consultations, and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards. The therapist will also engage in ongoing professional development to support quality, culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Mental Health assessment and clinical intervention
  • Experience with Treatment Planning and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches
  • Background in Social Work, including advocacy and resource coordination
  • Competence in Case Management and care coordination across providers and services
  • Training or experience in Family Therapy and working with diverse family systems
  • Active, unrestricted license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of South Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
  • Strong communication skills, cultural humility, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries
  • Comfort with hybrid work, including secure use of telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Supervision provided as needed
